In 1980, playwright Richard Collier (Christopher Reeve) becomes enamored with a portrait of Elise McKenna (Jane Seymour), a beautiful and famous stage actress of the early 20th century. Sending himself back to the year 1912 via a self-hypnosis technique, Richard finds Elise and the two fall hopelessly in love. But is their love stronger than time itself? Based on a Richard Matheson's novel, this lush romantic drama with a fantasy twist also stars Christopher Plummer, Teresa Wright. 104 min. Widescreen; Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital mono, French Dolby Digital mono; Subtitles: Spanish; audio commentary; "making of" documentary; photo gallery; biographies; theatrical trailer.
