Stephen Chbosky wrote and directed this adaptation of his bestseller about Charlie (Logan Lerman), an introverted high school freshman struggling to fit in following his best friend's suicide. After he meets the beautiful free-spirit Sam (Emma Watson) and her gay stepbrother Patrick (Ezra Miller), Charlie discovers The Smiths, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," and how to "feel infinite" while coming to terms with a dark secret about his past. Wondrous, heartfelt drama co-stars Paul Rudd, Dylan McDermott, Kate Walsh, and Mae Whitman. 103 min. Widescreen; Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English, Spanish; audio commentary by Chbosky, Lerman, Watson, Miller, others; featurette; deleted scenes; bonus UltraViolet digital copy; more.
