Ray Walston played the titular visitor from the Red Planet who became stranded on Earth when his flying saucer crash-landed near Los Angeles. While trying to fix his damaged spaceship, the friendly extraterrestrial posed as reporter Tim O'Hara's (Bill Bixby) "Uncle Martin," often using his extraordinary powers--including invisibility, telepathy, and levitation--to get the duo into wacky adventures. Pamela Britton co- starred in this popular sci-fi sitcom that ran from 1963-66.
