Based on Oscar Wilde's "Lady Windermere's Fan," this elegant romantic comedy transports the action from Victorian England to 1930s Italy. Incorrigible New York seductress Mrs. Erlynne (Helen Hunt) moves to the Amalfi Coast in search of her next conquest, latching onto the new husband of idealistic beauty Meg Windermere (Scarlett Johansson) while being pursued by a wealthy aristocrat (Tom Wilkinson). Pointed look at the dark underside of society life also stars Stephen Campbell Moore, Mark Umbers. 93 min. Widescreen; Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Digital stereo; Subtitles: English, Spanish; audio commentary; theatrical trailers.
