The 2020 CFP National Championship Game includes the commercial-free game broadcast as well as the trophy presentation. It is a great addition to any fan's collection! The No.1 LSU Tigers defeated the Clemson Tigers 42-25, in the CFP National Championship game played Monday, January 13, 2020, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. LSU quarterback and Heisman winner, Joe Burrow, finished his national championship game recordsetting performance with 463 yards on 31-of-49 passing, and six touchdowns (five passing Wide receiver JaMarr Chase, LSU's 2019 Biletnikoff Award winner, had nine catches for 221 yards and two touchdowns. Clemson, who was led in rushing by Travis Etienne, had a 17-7 lead in the second quarter before Burrow started to heat up. LSU led 28-17 at half. Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence had flashes of brilliance, but couldn't match match Burrow in the second half. In his post-ame remarks, LSU head coach, Ed Orgeron, said, "you've got to give the credit to the football team. They've been working for one year. They deserve this day."
