With its nonexistent production values, including its shambling carpet remnant of a title monster, the 1964 horror opus "The Creeping Terror" gained a lasting niche in cinema infamy. However, the story of the film’s producer/director/star--unrepentant con artist and spousal abuser A.J. Nelson, A/K/A Vic Savage (Josh Phillips)--and the audacious schemes and promises made to participants so that his dubious craftwork could reach theaters--provides more genuine shocks than his movie ever could. Darkly funny showbiz saga co-stars Jodi Lynn Thomas, Bill LeVasseur, Laurel Harris. 110 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English DTS HD stereo Master Audio 5.1; Subtitles: English (SDH); bonus film "The Creeping Terror" (1964); audio commentary; making-of documentary; featurettes; deleted scenes; alternate ending; theatrical trailers.
