Deathstalker (1983) is a sword-and-sorcery extravaganza featuring a warrior king who must locate three mystical objects in order to battle an evil wizard and save a beautiful princess. Rick Hill, Lana Clarkson, and Barbi Benton star in this action-filled Roger Corman production. "The Warrior and the Sorceress" (1984) stars David Carradine as a Herculean warrior drifting through the planet Ura who becomes a sword-for-hire in a battle of two arch rivals vying for control of a well to rescue an enchanting sorceress. Maria Socas and Anthony De Longis co-star. Clarkson is a sword-wielding ruler who finds her husband kidnapped and her village destroyed by a cruel tyrant. She must then team up with two other sexy female warriors to seek vengeance. Katt Shea, Dawn Dunlap, and Frank Zagarino co-star in "Barbarian Queen" (1985). AKA: "Queen of the Naked Steel." And, in "Deathstalker II" (1987), John Terlesky takes over the role of the title character who returns in this sequel to help a princess win back her kingdom from an evil sorcerer who had her cloned. Monique Gabrielle and John Lazar co-star. 5 1/4 hrs. total on two discs. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
