This charming seriocomedy, based on the novel by Jean Hanff Korelitz, focuses on uptight Princeton University admissions officer Portia Nathan (Tina Fey), who learns that unconventional applicant Jeremiah (Nat Wolff) might be the son she gave up for adoption years earlier. As Portia risks her job to bend the rules in Jeremiah's favor, she cautiously begins a romance with his free-spirited teacher (Paul Rudd).
