Agatha Christie Collection: Featuring Peter Ustinov
(1985)
Peter Ustinov is famed Belgian detective Hercule Poirot in this collection of Agatha Christie mysteries. First, the suspicious death of a movie actress's husband brings Poirot into the worlds of filmmaking and British aristocracy, in "Thirteen at Dinner" (1985). With Faye Dunaway, Lee Horsley, and TV Poirot David Suchet as Inspector Japp. Poirot is recruited to help a friend organize a mystery game for a fair, but finds himself on the job when a real murder occurs, in "Dead Man's Folly" (1986). Jean Stapleton, Jonathan Cecil, Nicollette Sheridan also star. And, "Murder in Three Acts" (1986) is set at a party in Acapulco where a reverend and a doctor are poisoned, and Poirot must prevent a third death. With Emma Samms and Tony Curtis.
