All in the Family: The Complete Ninth Season
(1978)
The world of TV was never the same once Queens factory worker Archie Bunker opened his mouth to complain about minorities, hippies, feminists and anyone else who disagreed with him. Norman Lear's groundbreaking sitcom, which won several Emmys during its 1970-1979 run, starred Carroll O'Connor as Archie, Jean Stapleton as long-suffering wife Edith, Sally Struthers as daughter Gloria, and Rob Reiner as long-haired, left-wing son-in-law Mike.
23 episodes, plus a 90-minute retrospective, on 3 discs. 11 1/4 hrs. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital stereo.
