Dangerous To Know (1938)

Ruthless big-town gangster Steve Recka (Akim Tamiroff) wanted to up his standing by courting socialite Margaret Van Kase (Gail Patrick), and was hardly above a frame job on her bond salesman boyfriend Phillip Easton (Harvey Stephens) to get him out of the way. Recka hadn't counted, however, on the will of his resentful mistress Lan Ying (Anna May Wong) to scuttle his schemes.
