Rosemary's Baby (1968)
Rosemary (Mia Farrow) and Guy Woodhouse (John Cassavetes) are a young couple living in a New York apartment building who are delighted by the news that Rosemary is pregnant. But strange physical changes, bizarre cravings, and the increasingly suspicious behavior of her husband and neighbors cannot begin to prepare her for the horrific truth about her baby. Ralph Bellamy, Sidney Blackmer, and Ruth Gordon co-star in writer/director Roman Polanski’s chilling adaptation of Ira Levin’s novel. 136 min. C/Rtg: R
Apartment 7A (2024)
Manhattan, 1965: Struggling dancer Terry Gionoffrio (Julia Garner) seemingly lucked into an affordable Upper West Side apartment, and the interested indulgence of kindly albeit odd new neighbors Minnie and Roman Castevet (Dianne Wiest, Kevin McNally). She's slowly discover that the elder couple's assurances of her future success would come with an unholy price. Creepy prequel to "Rosemary's Baby" from director Natalie Erika James also stars Jim Sturgess, Marli Siu, Rosy McEwen, Andrew Buchan. 104 min. C/Rtg: R
