On the verge of committing suicide after he loses his girl and has become a washed-up rock singer, Jota (Nancho Novo) sees a motorcycle go over the side of a Boardwalk. Going to investigate, he finds a young woman (Emma Suarez) who has lost her memory. Jota convinces her that she has been living with him for several years and takes her to a camping site, the Red Squirrel, where he says they will become reacquainted. As her memory begins to return, events take an unexpected turn and Jota begins to realize that he's gotten a lot more than he bargained for. From director Julio Medem (Lovers of the Arctic Circle, Tierra) and winner of the 1993 Cannes Film Festival Award of the Youth. Features a newly-transferred 16 x 9 widescreen picture, newly-translated optional English subtitles, Julio Medem interview, theatrical trailer, photo gallery.
