Bandleader Damon Dillingham (Philip Terry) comes back from the war to discover that lawyer partner Eddie Martin (Ralph Edwards, of "This Is Your Life" fame) has squandered the act’s finances. The sly shyster plans to get them back in the black by stringing along a wealthy songstress wannabe (Frances Langford) for her money, and complications ensue when she proves to be truly talented.
