First, Macdonald Carey stars as frontiersman Jim Bowie, who learns that a silver-rich mountain is in "Comanche Territory" (1950), but a greedy settler and his sister have stolen the deed and plan to massacre the Comanche for trespassing. Maureen O'Hara, Will Geer, Charles Drake also star. And, based in part on a true incident, "Tomahawk" (1951) stars Van Heflin as scout Jim Bridger, who seeks to peacefully settle a conflict in the Dakota Territory between the Sioux nation and a sadistic Cavalry officer who wants to wipe them out. Yvonne De Carlo, Alex Nicol, Preston Foster, Susan Cabot, and a young Rock Hudson star. Three-disc set also includes "Texas Rangers Ride Again," "When the Daltons Rode," "The Spoilers," "The Virginian" (1946), "Albuquerque," "Whispering Smith" (1948), "Sierra," and "Kansas Raiders." 14 hrs. total. Standard; Soundtrack: English.
