This western remake of the Humphrey Bogart gangster flick "High Sierra" stars Joel McCrea as Wes McQueen, a notorious outlaw who breaks out of jail and winds up planning one last railroad robbery with his old gang, despite his desire to settle down. But McQueen and dance hall girl Colorado Carson (Virginia Mayo) must make a desperate escape to the mountains when the heist goes bad.
