An up-and-coming attorney, Tommy Reilly (Aaron Tveit, Les Miserables) takes on a case for Alejandra Batista (Edy Ganem, Devious Maids), a devoted Catholic woman with a calling to become a priest. When she is rejected by the Church, Tommy and Alejandra decide to sue the Archdiocese of New Orleans for sexual discrimination. A Church representative Monsignor Renzulli (Lou Diamond Phillips, The 33) files a motion to dismiss the case. As the case starts to make press headlines, both Tommy and Alejandras lives are in danger. Will Judge Watford (Gregory Alan Williams, The Accountant) side with Catholic tradition or make a move toward breaking the stained glass ceiling for women in the Church?
