Memorable thriller from Don Tracy’s novel stars Burt Lancaster as Steve Thompson, an armored car driver who moves back to L.A. in order to rekindle his romance with ex-wife Anna (Yvonne De Carlo). But femme fatale Anna draws Steve into a dark plan to help her gangster husband (Dan Duryea) in a heist.
