In Frank Capra’s filming of the popular Broadway black comedy, Cary Grant plays Mortimer Brewster, a writer and former confirmed bachelor who takes his new bride (Priscilla Lane) to visit the Brooklyn home of the two sweet old aunts (Josephine Hull, Jean Adair) who raised him.
