Based on a Louis L’Amour novel, this western stars Tom Selleck as Rafe Covington, a drifter who promises a dying friend that he’ll look after his ranch and wife after he dies. After Covington sees the rundown ranch, he meets the wife, who claims her husband was killed by Indians a year earlier.
