Bob Steele is torn between stopping rustlers or saving the life of "Wildfire" (1945), a wild stallion marked for death by local ranchers; Sterling Holloway co-stars. A former lawman (Rod Cameron) living in Mexico returns to the U.S. to track down his brother's killer in the Texas "Panhandle" (1948); with a script co-written by Blake Edwards, who also co-stars with Anne Gwynne and Reed Hadley. The "B"-western adventure "Train to Tombstone" (1950) features Don "Red" Barry trying to stop the robbery of a train headed for Tombstone. Robert Lowery, Judith Allen co-star. In "Operation Haylift" (1950), the 1949 blizzards that rocked Nevada ranchers are re-created in this drama starring Bill Williams and Ann Rutherford. With Tom Brown, Jane Nigh. Sterling Hayden enters "Hellgate" (1952) prison after coming to the aid of an injured guerrilla raider. With Joan Leslie, Ward Bond. And the young son of a mountain lodge owner witnesses a murder in the wilderness thriller "Fangs of the Wild" (1954).
