This DVD brings together two of Upheaval Productions' films on New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, Down But Not Out and Dos Americas: The Reconstruction of New Orleans. Both films give an inside account of what is really happening in the Gulf Coast through interviews with those most affected. Down But Not Out explores survivors' stories of evacuation and their thoughts on reconstruction one year following the disaster, and Dos Americas examines the Latino migrant laborers who are rebuilding New Orleans and the issues that community faces. Both films have been widely screened both domestically and internationally and have received wide acclaim.
