This remake of 1978's "Heaven Can Wait" features Chris Rock as Lance Barton, a less-than-talented stand-up comic who buys the farm before his time due to an absent-minded guardian angel (Eugene Levy). Lance’s soul is allowed to return to Earth in the body of a middle-aged white millionaire, where he must cope with new surroundings, a wife who wants him dead, and a romance with an activist (Regina King).
