Acclaimed Macedonian director Milcho Manchevski ("Before the Rain") fashioned this offbeat western saga set in both America and Europe. A woman catches a thief burglarizing her Manhattan apartment, then convinces him to listen to her story about David Wenham and Joseph Fiennes, brothers in love with prostitute Anne Brochet in the early 1900s.
