It's 2203. Reports of Admiral Okita's death have been exaggerated and he returns to resume command of the Yamato. Their final voyage is to seek and destroy Aquarius, the water planet, before it can flood Earth. Okita succeeds by ordering the crew ashore and creating a supreme Kamikaze mission that returns Yamato to the same watery grave from which it was originally rescued in the first movie.
