Just prior to her breakout performance in "Of Human Bondage," Bette Davis starred in this fast-paced crime drama as Arlene Bradford, a high-society banker’s stepdaughter who’s drawn to the criminal lifestyle. When she gets in over her head thanks to her gangster pals’ scheme to launder some stolen bonds, it’s up to Bradford’s good-girl stepsister (Margaret Lindsay) and a slick reporter (Donald Woods) to save the day. With Lyle Talbot, Hugh Herbert. 68 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
