A bellhop (James Cagney) and chambermaid (Joan Blondell) fall into each other's arms─and con artistry─but their relationship is threatened by her desire to go straight, in "Blonde Crazy" (1931). Louis Calhern, Ray Milland co-star. A woman (Norma Shearer) might regret choosing the suitor (Neil Hamilton) who offered globe-trotting adventure over the one (Robert Montgomery) who offered a ring, in "Strangers May Kiss" (1931). Irene Rich co-stars. Busted down to the romance-advice desk after killing a story that would've ruined a friend, a former managing editor (Paul Muni) sniffs out a career-saving scoop in "Hi, Nellie!" (1934). Glenda Farrell, Ned Sparks co-star. The love of a good woman (Genevieve Tobin) gets a compulsive dog-track habitué (Edward G. Robinson) to change his ways─briefly─and he wagers all in a desperate effort to win her back, in "Dark Hazard" (1934). Farrell, Sidney Toler co-star. 5 hrs. total on four discs. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
