A small-town Hoosier (Eric Linden) takes his windfall to Manhattan in search of a good time, but his drunken hotel-room bash ends in tragedy, in "Big City Blues" (1932). A novelist (Myrna Loy) whose latest is a roman a clef about her affair with her publisher (Frank Morgan) makes a new friend (Ann Harding)--and doesn't know she's his wife. "When Ladies Meet" (1933) co-stars Robert Montgomery, Alice Brady. A fast-talking Second Avenue huckster (Pat O'Brien) finds himself being outscammed by a femme fatale (Claire Dodd) in "I Sell Anything" (1934).
