Max's sister calls him for help. Her husband Josh has committed suicide and she and her son Danny are struggling to cope. Danny has stopped speaking and Max's sister needs to take him to a specialist out of town. She asks Max to look after her home and two cats while she's away. Max agrees to help his nephew. However, what was intended to be a peaceful vacation turns into a nightmare when Max discovers a series of demonic child drawings and encounters the apparition of a young girl and a demon creature. He realizes that the house's tragic events are being caused by an ancient demon evoked by it's first inhabitant: an old witch who was devoted to Satan.
