In a frontier town roiled by a range war between cattlemen and sheepmen, lone pastor Jim Killian (Glenn Ford) rides in, hoping to set up a parish and broker a peace. His efforts meet with violent pushback. Turns out, though, that Killian was a notorious gunslinger before he picked up the good book, and he’s going to make some true believers.
