While a single mother (Ekateryna Rak) struggles to earn a sustainable living working at a hospital in the Ukraine, a young man (Paul Hoffman) residing in Austria finds it difficult to hold a steady job. Though their lives fail to collide in unexpected ways, the twin narratives nevertheless bind both protagonists in compelling parallel stories of human misery and hard-won hope. Challenging drama co-stars Michael Thomas, Georg Friedrich. 135 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: German; Subtitles: English. In German with English subtitles. Region Free
