When his ongoing depression leads to suicidal thoughts, Brooklyn teen Craig (Keir Gilchrist) checks himself into a psychiatric hospital without his parents' knowledge. During his five-day stay Craig attempts to come to terms with his life, with help from fellow inmate and unlikely mentor Bobby (Zach Galifianakis), and forms a special bond with self-mutilating patient Noelle (Emma Roberts).
