Fired from the Irish police force, Jack Taylor (Iain Glen) becomes a private eye and is hired to locate a woman's teenage daughter, who might be tied to a wave of suicides and illegal pornography. "The Guards" (2010) co-stars Ralph Brown, Tara Breathnach. Next, "The Magdalen Martyrs" (2011) finds Taylor uncovering more brutal activities at the notorious Magdalen Laundries, connected to a nun named after the Devil himself.
