This powerful look at day-to-day life in ‘90s Harlem focuses on Q (Omar Epps), an aspiring disc jockey, and his teenage friends--Bishop (Tupac Shakur), Raheem (Khalil Kain), and Steel (Jermaine Hopkins)--who have to make a difficult decision: Walk the straight and narrow or lead a life of crime.
