Quincy Jones not only co-produced this film about his friend and mentor Clark Terry (which revolves around Clark's friendship with stage fright-stricken piano prodigy Justin Kauflin), but he also produced this superb soundtrack, which serves as a virtual Best of Clark Terry collection, featuring many of his most iconic recordings, including his performances with some of the all-time jazz greats: Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson, Count Basie, and Quincy Jones.
