Coward of the County (1981)

A young pacifist (Fredric Lehne) in 1940s Georgia is branded a coward for refusing to join the Army in the aftermath of Pearl Harbor. When his girlfriend (Largo Woodruff) is raped by local hooligans, he faces a profoundly difficult choice: to keep the promise he made to his dying father, or to fight in defense of his beloved’s honor. Wild Horses (1985)
