Mob mouthpiece Barry Brandon (Lee Tracy) was as surprised as anyone when he was tapped for District Attorney, but his former clientele is making the transition anything but easy, in "Criminal Lawyer" (1937). Radio reporter Eddie Haines (Tracy) always got a kick out of scooping his print journalist ex (Diana Gibson), but he may be her only hope when she’s taken hostage by a heist ring, in "Behind the Headlines" (1937).
