First, deputy marshal Donald "Red" Barry, investigating the murders of several local ranchers, gets a tip from a newspaper editor pal that the man he's looking for is the leader of a notorious band of gunmen called "The Dalton Gang." With Robert Lowery, Byron Foulger. And, Barry and Lowery team up again in "I Shot Billy the Kid," which chronicles the tumultuous relationship and fateful final showdown between the infamous gunslinger (Barry) and lawman Pat Garrett (Lowery).
