Julie Andrews won an Academy Award in her film debut as the "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" nanny who brings magic and joy to the Banks family in turn-of-the-20th-century London. Producer Walt Disney’s fanciful mix of animation and live action, based on the books by P.L. Travers, co-stars Dick Van Dyke, David Tomlinson, Glynis Johns, Karen Dotrice, Matthew Garber, and Ed Wynn. The score by Richard and Robert Sherman includes "A Spoonful of Sugar," "Let's Go Fly a Kite," "Chim Chim Cher-ee," "Feed the Birds." 139 min.
