Johnny Mack Brown must bring a stage-robbing gang to heel, regardless of the suspected involvement of his old friend "The Texas Kid" (1943). After ranchers are mysteriously murdered, Brown and Raymond Hatton draw their guns to investigate, in "Partners of the Trail" (1944). Marshal Brown tries to get the goods on bank thieves with a hidden helper in "Law Men" (1944). Brown and Hatton ride to rope and tie a rancher's killers in "Ghost Guns" (1944). When an archeologist is slain for his gold artifacts, Brown and Hatton dispense lead justice, in "Gun Smoke" (1945). Once two ranchers' rivalry turns deadly, it's up to Brown and Hatton to settle the "Frontier Feud" (1945). Johnny has to corral the "Border Bandits" (1946) out to relieve a family of their jewels. Rebel-turned-federal agent Brown must protect Texas Reconstructionists from the "Raiders of the South" (1947). Government agent Brown unmasks the mastermind behind a series of stage heists in "Canyon Ambush" (1952). 8 1/2 hrs. total on three discs. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
