A rancher couple has been slain, and their infant child targeted for kidnap by owlhoots. Jimmy Wakely, "Dusty" James, and "Lasses" White ride to uncover the sinister reason why, in "Riding the Dusty Trail" (1945). AKA: "Riders of the Dawn." Wakely, James, and White chip in to buy a ghost town, but when "Lasses" sells a controlling interest to crooked speculators, it's time to hit the "Lonesome Trail" (1945). When corrupt privatized lawmen start extorting ranchers in post-Civil War Texas, former Rangers Wakely and Dub Taylor go back to dispensing justice, in "The Rangers Ride" (1948).
