Jimmy Wakely goes against the jewel thieves using his boss's dude ranch as a front in "Saddle Serenade" (1945). Lee White co-stars. Johnny Mack Brown rides to clear a friend's son of a murder frame in "Trigger Fingers" (1946). Raymond Hatton, Jennifer Holt co-star. Wakely slaps leather with the owlhoots smuggling a mine's ore "Across the Rio Grande" (1949), with Dub Taylor. Whip Wilson puts the lash to those who railroaded a pal for rustling in "Gunslingers" (1950). Andy Clyde co-stars. Wilson goes undercover as a black hat to flush out "Silver Raiders" (1950). Whip's out to discover who tried to dry-gulch a lady merchant in "Arizona Territory" (1950). Wilson has to bring down the "Lawless Cowboys" (1951) who're fixing rodeo events. Fuzzy Knight co-stars. Brown has to solve the mysterious hold-ups plaguing a stage line in "Whistling Hills" (1951), with James Ellison, Noel Neill. And Brown and Ellison have to hogtie an imposter claiming Ellison's mining inheritance in "Man from the Black Hills" (1952). 8 1/2 hrs. total on three discs.
