Grand romantic drama stars Bette Davis as Fanny Trellis, a scheming New York socialite who marries banker Job Skeffington (Claude Rains) in order to save her brother, Trippy, from prison after he's accused of embezzling money from Skeffington, his boss. Their loveless marriage soon ends after their birth of their daughter, but years later tragedy brings them together. Also stars Marjorie Riordan, Richard Waring. 146 min.
