Watching cheesy movies was never more enjoyable than in this cult fave 1988-1999 TV series. Shot into space by mad scientists, futuristic janitor Joel Robinson (Joel Hodgson) (later replaced by Mike Nelson) and his robot friends Crow, Gypsy, and Tom Servo view--and offer a comedic running commentary on--the greatest cinematic turkeys ever made. With Trace Beaulieu, Kevin Murphy, Jim Mallon, Frank Conniff, Mary Jo Pehl.
When alien monsters made from carpet remnants land on Earth, it's up to Mike and the bots to endure "The Creeping Terror" (1964). Also, take a boatload of dance-happy teens led by Tommy Kirk, some crooks after a priceless scroll, a song by Little Richard, and a fish-loving "creepy girl," and you--and Joel and the bots--get the sun-soaked silliness of "Catalina Caper" (1967). Four-disc set also includes "Bloodlust!" and "The Skydivers." 6 hrs. total. Standard; Soundtrack: English.
