Watching cheesy movies was never more enjoyable than in this cult fave 1988-1999 TV series. Shot into space by mad scientists, futuristic janitor Joel Robinson (Joel Hodgson) (later replaced by Mike Nelson) and his robot friends Crow, Gypsy, and Tom Servo view--and offer a comedic running commentary on--the greatest cinematic turkeys ever made. With Trace Beaulieu, Kevin Murphy, Jim Mallon, Frank Conniff, Mary Jo Pehl.
Mumble-mouthed, motorcycle-riding Robert Ginty is the "Warrior of the Lost World" (1983), romancing Persis Khambatta and battling future dictator Donald Pleasence in a sci-fi snoozefest that has Joel and the Bots rooting for the monstrous "Megaweapon." This four-disc set also includes "The Corpse Vanishes," "Night of the Blood Beast," and the Mexican-made classic "Santa Claus." 6 hrs. total. Standard; Soundtrack: English; featurettes; interviews; TV spots; more.
