San Francisco phone worker Tom (Robert Carnagey) quietly hoped that his personals ad would provide more than a moment's heat. He'd get what he'd wished for in the younger Robert (Robert Adams), in Arthur J. Bressan, Jr.’s romance-leavened gay adult opus "Passing Strangers." Then, as Larry (Adams) cautiously corresponds with his Alcatraz inmate lover Richard (Richard Locke), he reflects back on the good--and passionate--times together, in Bressan's "Forbidden Letters." 146 min. total. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English; Subtitles: English (SDH), Spanish; audio commentary; featurettes; image gallery; theatrical trailers.
