Writer/director Jim Jarmusch’s downbeat dramedy stars Adam Driver as Paterson, a bus driver in, coincidentally, Paterson, New Jersey. The film follows Paterson over the course of a normal week, his work routine offset by the beautiful poetry he composes in his free moments. Will Paterson follow the advice of Laura (Golshifteh Farahani), the quirky, free-spirited love of his life, who’s been encouraging him to publish his work? With William Jackson Harper, Chasten Harmon, Barry Shabaka Henley, and Method Man. 119 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English (SDH).
