In rural ‘50s Idaho, little Seth Dove (Jeremy Cooper) and his buddies enjoyed cruelly pranking his neighbor, depressed widow Dolphin Blue (Lindsay Duncan). After one of the kids is found murdered, and Seth’s accused father commits suicide, Seth becomes convinced that Dolphin’s responsible...and is a vampire! When his returned soldier brother Cameron (Viggo Mortensen) becomes romantically involved with Dolphin, Seth plots desperate measures to remove her, in Philip Ridley’s unsettling cult thriller. 96 min.
