The spectacular Australian wilds are used to good advantage in this sequel to the acclaimed 1982 frontier actioner "The Man from Snowy River." Now, cowboy Jim Craig (Tom Burlinson) has returned home with a herd of horses and his heart set on reclaiming the love of the beautiful Jessica (Sigrid Thornton). He encounters rigid opposition to their romance from her father (Brian Dennehy), who would prefer his daughter marry the son (Nicholas Eadie) of a banker. With Mark Hembrow, Cornelia Frances. 100 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital 5.1.
