Clayton Poole (Jerry Lewis) is a TV repairman smitten with movie star Carla Naples (Marilyn Maxwell), who has married a Mexican bullfighter. After the matador dies suddenly, a pregnant Carla needs someone to look after the child before word leaks out and ruins her image, and Clayton is tapped to serve as "nanny." Things get complicated, though, when she gives birth to triplets!
